Small Enough to Go Everywhere
Molecular hydrogen — H₂ — is the smallest molecule. Its size and neutral character allow it to diffuse rapidly across cell membranes and move through tissues, muscles and the brain. Scientists are investigating how H₂ may interact with the cellular environment and influence processes connected with oxidative stress, redox balance, inflammatory signalling and mitochondrial function.
Rapid Diffusion
As a small, non-polar molecule, H₂ can move through biological membranes and reach areas that are more difficult for larger molecules to access.

Molecular hydrogen research does not investigate one single format. H₂ has been studied through inhalation, hydrogen-enriched water and several other applications. Each featured study is labelled by delivery method so you can immediately understand how molecular hydrogen was used.

THE HYDRATION-H₂ METHOD
How Molecular Hydrogen Inhalation Works
Hydration-H₂ systems generate high-purity molecular hydrogen from pure distilled water. The H₂ is delivered through a lightweight personal nasal cannula while you sit back or recline.
During use, Hydration-H₂ systems provide an estimated inhalation concentration of 2–4%—a range commonly investigated in molecular hydrogen research.

Published human studies generally report a favourable tolerance profile for molecular hydrogen at the concentrations investigated. No serious adverse effects attributable to H₂ have been reported in the peer-reviewed human clinical literature reviewed here.

Proton Exchange Membrane / Solid Polymer Electrolyte electrolysis generates high-purity molecular hydrogen from distilled water without harmful by-products or chemical additives.
Water Requirement
Only purified or distilled water should be used in Hydration-H₂ devices. Tap water, mineral water, de-ionised water and other water types are not suitable and may damage the device.
